(Poem) The greatness of Allah | Abdullah Hassan

💢 A Poem Titled:
*”The Greatness of Allaah”*
*Written by*
Abu Mu’aawiyah Abdullah Hassan

*A couple of things to note:*
The Love mentioned in the poem, refers to Allaah’s attribute of Love which is affirmed in the Quran and the Sunnah. The love of Humans is incomparable to that of the Creator. Hence Ahlus Sunnah affirm for Allaah Love which is Befitting of His Greatness, it does not entail “Lust” or anything found in the Love of mankind.
Secondly, we preferred the word “Muslims” over “Believers”, such that the poem and its intended meanings would be more accessible and clearer to Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

And with Allaah lies success.

The Poor one Unto Allaah

The wisdom behind the falling of some of the great scholars into mistakes

❎ *The wisdom behind the falling of some of the great scholars into mistakes*

Allamah Abdur Rahman Al Mu`allimi Al Yamaani Rahimahullah said,

🔴 Know that, Allah makes some of the pious people (well known righteous scholars) fall into some mistakes as a trial for others: Do they follow the Truth (the proof from Quran and Sunnah upon understanding of Salaf) and leave the saying of this pious person or do they get cheated by the nobility and greatness of the person (and follow his mistake blindly) ?
He (the pious scholar who fell into mistake) is not only excused but rewarded because of his Ijtihad (effort to reach to correct ruling based upon the knowledge) and his good intention and not falling short (in his Ijtihad and righteous intention).
But the one who follows him and being cheated by his greatness without looking into the established proofs from The Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), he will not be excused but he is upon great danger.
When the mother of believers Aaishah (Radiallahu anha) went to Basraa before the incident of camel (war of camel), Ameer-ul-Mumineen Ali (Radiallahu anhu) and his son Al Hasan and Ammaar ibn Yasir (Radiallahu anhuma) followed her to advise the people. From the speech of Ammar to the people of Basraa, he said,
“By Allah, she is the wife of your Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) in this world and in the Aakhirah. But Allah is testing you through her to know whether you obey Him (Allah) or obey her.”
And also from great examples with this meaning, the demanding of Fatimah (Radiallahu anha) what she has inherited from her father (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) (from Abu Bakr (Radiallahu anhu) after the death of Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)). And this was a great trial upon the Siddeeq (Radiallahu anhu), and Allah kept him firm (upon the truth) in it.

Naseeha: Fitnah is like a hurricane | Musa Millington

(Advice) Fitnah is like a hurricane it destroys everything and everyone in its path. However, when hurricane comes on land it decreases speed and ceases to exist. Likewise when fitnah is approached with knowledge and avoidance it dies. Therefore spend your time doing good deeds and that which benefits in this world and the hereafter and stay away from fitnah and its people as it only increases a person in wasting his time, sin and eventually regret. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said:

” Verily the successful one is who avoids fitnah.”

I worshipped Allaah for 50yrs and I didn’t find the sweetness of worshipping until I left off three things

*Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal رحمه الله تعالى said*
I worshipped Allaah for 50yrs and I didn’t find the sweetness of worshipping until I left off three things
*1. I left pleasing people and I got energy of talking the truth;*
*2. I left the company of evil people until I found the company of righteous people;*
*3. I left the sweetness of the world until I found the sweetness of the Hereafter.*

An advise to those who like to take pictures of their belongings and post it

An advise to those who like to take pictures of their belongings and post it:
Imam Ibn Hazm Al Andalusi May Allah Have mercy upon him said:

“How many have we seen from those who boast with that which he owns from belongings, and thus it was a reason for its destruction, either due to the evil eye of an envious one or the plotting of an enemy. Thus beware of this (boasting with that which one owns) for it is purely a harm and no benefit in it”
