There are also some Angels
who write down the deeds of human beings.

“But verily, over you (are appointed Angels in charge of mankind) to watch you, honorable, writing down (your deeds), they know all that you do”

(Al-Infitar 82:10-12)

“Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it)”

(Qaf 50: 18)

One of the companions of Imaam Ahmad, may Allah have mercy upon him, visited him while he was sick. He found him groaning from the sickness. He said:

“O Abu ‘Abdullaah! Are you groaning?”

Tawus said: ‘Indeed, the Angels write down everything, even the groan of a sick person, because Allah says:

“Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it)”

(Qaf 50: 18)”‘

Therefore, Abu ‘Abdullaah began to have (more) patience, and he stopped groaning, [1] because everything is written down. “Not a word does he (or she) utter?” – Meaning any word uttered by you is written. However, you might be rewarded or punished for it. This is based on the saying that was said.

Surah Yunus, Verse 35:
قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَائِكُم مَّن يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ قُلِ اللَّهُ يَهْدِي لِلْحَقِّ أَفَمَن يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَن يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّن لَّا يَهِدِّي إِلَّا أَن يُهْدَىٰ فَمَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ
Say: “Is there of your (Allah’s so-called) partners one that guides to the truth?” Say: “It is Allah Who guides to the truth. Is then He, Who gives guidance to the truth, more worthy to be followed, or he who finds not guidance (himself) unless he is guided? Then, what is the matter with you? How judge you?”
Surah Yunus, Verse 36:
وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ أَكْثَرُهُمْ إِلَّا ظَنًّا إِنَّ الظَّنَّ لَا يُغْنِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ شَيْئًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ
And most of them follow nothing but conjecture. Certainly, conjecture can be of no avail against the truth. Surely, Allah is All-Aware of what they do.
Surah Yunus, Verse 37:
وَمَا كَانَ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنُ أَن يُفْتَرَىٰ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلَٰكِن تَصْدِيقَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيلَ الْكِتَابِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
And this Quran is not such as could ever be produced by other than Allah (Lord of the heavens and the earth), but it is a confirmation of (the revelation) which was before it [i.e. the Taurat (Torah), and the Injeel (Gospel), etc.], and a full explanation of the Book (i.e. laws and orders, etc, decreed for mankind) – wherein there is no doubt from the the Lord of the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists).

Advice is definitely beneficial, but who can give better advice than the Creator of existence?

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُمْ مَوْعِظَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَشِفَاءٌ لِمَا
فِي الصُّدُورِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

O mankind! There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (i.e. the Quran, ordering all that is good and forbidding all that is evil), and a healing for that (disease of ignorance, doubt, hypocrisy and differences, etc.) in your breasts, – a guidance and a mercy (explaining lawful and unlawful things, etc.) for the believers.

[سورة اليونس: ٥٧]

A powerful verse which many of us fail to realize:

وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَهُمْ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ

And if you ask them who created them, they will surely say: “Allah”. How then are they turned away (from the worship of Allah, Who created them)?

[سورة الزخرف | ٤٣:٨٧]

Our journey through life in four verses:

مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ خَلَقَهُ فَقَدَّرَهُ
From Nutfah (male and female fluids) He created him, and then set him in due proportion;
ثُمَّ السَّبِيلَ يَسَّرَهُ
Then He makes the Path easy for him;
ثُمَّ أَمَاتَهُ فَأَقْبَرَهُ
Then He causes him to die, and puts him in his grave;
ثُمَّ إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْشَرَهُ
Then, when it is His Will, He will resurrect him (again).

[سورة العبس | ١٩-٢٢]

May Allah make us of those who are successful on the Day of Resurrection, اللهم آمين
