Narrated Anas bin Malik:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Make things easy for the people, and do not make it difficult for them, and make them calm (with glad tidings) and do not repulse (them ).

What is the benefit of the students of knowledge learning (about) the different sects? | Sh. Uthaymeen
Shaykh Al Uthaymeen was asked:
What is the benefit of the students of knowledge learning (about) the different sects such the Mu’atazilah, the Jahmiyah, and the Khawaarij, whilst they aren’t present in this time (period)?
He replied:
There is a benefit in Learning the different innovated sects in this time period and it is:
That we come to know the sources (or that which they are criticized for) of these sects so that we can refute that if they are present, and in reality they are present.
As for the statement of the questioner: “They have no presence at the current moment” then that is built upon his knowledge.
But that which is known with us and with other than us whom observe the situations of the people that these sects are present and that they are active in spreading their innovation.
For that reason it’s a must that we learn these opinions so that we know it’s falsehood and that we know truth, and so that we may refute those who argue in regards to the truth.

Giving Precedence to Pleasing the Creator Before anyone from His creation

“Oh Abu Musa, were you to strive your utmost to please everybody, then there is no way to achieve that. So if that is the case, then make your action and intention sincere for the sake of Allaah Azawajel.

If somebody were to meet a king | Sh. Uthaymeen (Benefit of salat)
📝
*Benefit:*
_Shaykh Al Uthaymeen رحمه الله mentioned:_
If somebody were to meet with a king five times a day, it would be considered from his virtues and he would become happy with that. He would say “Every day I sit with the king five times a day”
As for you, you converse with the king of all kings Aza Wa Jal, at least five times in a day, then why don’t you become happy with that?
Praise Allah upon this bounty and establish the prayer!!

Combining the salawat as a resident prior his commute | Sh. Muhammad Hizaam
📩
*Question:*
If a man wants to travel and he isn’t able to stop in the path for the prayer, is it permissible for him to combine between Thuhr and Asr before he travels?
📝
*Answer*
There is no problem that he does that in the situation of necessity and in times of needs, relying upon the narration of Ibn Abbas that the prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم combined between Thuhr and Asr, and Between Maghrib and Isha without (due to) any fear, nor travelling. It was said to Ibn Abbas what did he (صلى الله عليه و سلم) intend with that? He said he intended not to over burden his nation.
Thus if you find a need then there is no problem to combine between Thuhr and Asr whilst being a resident, during rare situations at times of needs.

What is the ruling on honour gatherings for tulaab of Quran infront of the people | Sh. Muhammad Hizaam
✉
*Question:*
What is the ruling in regards to the one that organizes a competition to teach the people the memorization of the quran for two months, and when it cumulates he holds an honour gathering (to honour the students) in front of the people between Maghrib and Isha. Then, after Isha, they have a large feast and spend money. Is this action legislated?
📃
*Answer:*
No proof has come in the Sunnah of our prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم for this action. How many from the companions and those who followed them used to memorize the Qur’an and they did not do that
Gathering those who have finished memorizing the Quran and making them appear in front of the people is in opposition to the Sunnah and it is advised to leave it off. The prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم did not do it nor his companions. Adding to that, it is a means of cultivating the people upon the Dunyaa, and loving to be seen (by others).

The categories of those who follow the leaders of disbelief and misguidance | Sh. Uthaymeen
📜📜📜📜📜📜📜📜
*The categories of those who follow the leaders of disbelief and misguidance*
_By Shaykh Al Uthaymeen رحمه الله_:
🔘The first category:
Those who are ignorant of the truth, do not know anything in regards to it, negligence didn’t occur from them in seeking it, while they thought that which they were upon is the truth, then (this category) are excused (with ignorance).
🔘The second category:
Those whom know the truth, but they rejected it out of fanaticism to their leaders, then (this category) are not excused (with ignorance).
They are like the ones Allah said in regards to them:
إِنَّا وَجَدْنَا آبَاءَنَا عَلَىٰ أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ آثَارِهِم مُّهْتَدُونَ
“We found our fathers following a certain way and religion, and we guide ourselves by their footsteps.”

A benefit regarding heat and cold
*بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم*
الحمد لله رب العالمين والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.
All praise is for Allah and may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon His messenger salallahu aleyhi wa Sallam.
We find that there has been a drop in temperature and that it has become extremely cold of late.
This should make the Muslim reflect upon the magnificence of Allah the Most High who by His wisdom alternates between the seasons so that His creation can benefit from the different types of weather and temperature.
Additionally, the severe cold should remind the Muslim of the severity of jahannum. Its been reported in authentic hadith:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “The (Hell) Fire complained to its Lord saying, ‘O my Lord! My different parts eat up each other.’ So, He allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in summer, and this is the reason for the severe heat and the bitter cold you find (in weather). (Al Bukhari and Muslim).
If the severity of the cold and heat that we feel is from the breath of jahannum, then what about jahannum?
We seek refuge in Allah from jahannum.
