THE RULING ON SEEKING FORGIVENESS OR PRAISING ALLAH AFTER BURPING – SHAIKH ABDUL-MUHSIN AL-‘ABBAD

Question: Oh Virtuous Shaikh, what is the ruling on the one who burps and praising Allah because most people praise Allah when they burp. Has there come a proof for that? Another questioner says: we hear people who burp and say: May Allah forgive me. Which of these two is correct?

Answer: “I do not know anything that proves this one or that one”
