Making hijrah to Morocco | Sh. Zayd al-Madkhali rahimahullah

Ash-Shaykh Zayd al-Madkhali, may Allah have mercy upon him, was asked the following question:

The Question: A Brother from Belgium tells the brothers not to make hijrah to Morocco because therein is graves that are being worshiped and he says the state of France (for the Muslims) is better than the state of Morocco?

The Answer: Morocco is a Muslim country even though within it is idol worshiping the reason being ; is that they (i.e. those living there) are not in agreement upon worshiping idols. In the midst of them is scholars and mosques which are free from having graves and Islaam is apparent therein. So this is not a reasonable justification (to not make hijrah to Morocco)…”
