Tawheed and ‘Aqeedah comes first. | Sh.Albani & Sh. Jami’

Tawheed and ‘Aqeedah comes first.
Al-Imaam Naasirud-deen Al-Albaani – rahimahullah –
“It is compulsory to concerntrate and focus on tawheed firstly this is the methodology of the prophets and messengers – peace be upon them –”
Tawheed Awalan, Page: 7
Al Imaam Muhammad Aamaan bin Ali Al Jaami said :
“Therefore ‘Aqeedah comes first and comes before anything and everything comes after ‘Aqeedah.”
Tape: Al-‘Aqeedah Awalan.
And Al-Albaani says : and this is why I believe that the first thing which is truly obligatory upon the callers of the muslims is that they are concerned about this statement ( I.e Laa ilaaha illa Allaah) and about it’s explanations with summarization then discuss it in detail that which this good statement necessasitates !!

Asceticism is not that you leave off the world from your hands whilst it is in your heart | Imam Ibn Qayyim

Imam Ibnul Qaiyum said:
قال الإمام ابن القيم :

“ليس الزهد أن تترك الدنيا من يدك وهي في قلبك إنما الزهد أن تتركها من قلبك وهي في يدك”

طريق الهجرتين (٤٥٤)

“Asceticism is not that you leave off the world from your hands whilst it is in your heart, rather asceticism is that you leave it from your heart (it doesn’t have a place in your heart) whilst it is in your hand”

Writing the Marriage Contract is not a Condition for the Validity of the Marriage – Shaikh Salih al-Fawzan

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
⏩ Writing the Marriage Contract is not a Condition for the Validity of the Marriage – Shaikh Salih al-Fawzan
Question : From the conditions of the marriage contract, is it necessary to have it written [i.e. Writing the contract]?
Answer : “No, writing [the marriage contract] is not from the conditions for the validity of the marriage. If there is the agreement of the Wali (the guardian) and the acceptance of the groom or from their Wakeels [i.e. Trustees], in the presence of two just witnesses, along with the removal of any preventatives from the two spouses, then the contract is valid even if it is not written. Yes”.

The Importance of Asking Questions that will Benefit you, and Abstaining from Inquisitive Questioning

💢 *The Importance of Asking Questions that will Benefit you, and Abstaining from Inquisitive Questioning* 💢

_Ash-Sheikh Suleyman ar-Ruhayli حفظه الله_

◾ ◾ ◾ ◾ ◾

🔵 *The Questioner says:*

Asalaamu Aleykum, May Allaah preserve you,

_Explain to us the difference between The Jinn, The Shaytaan and Iblees, and may Allaah reward you with good._

🔴 *Ash-Sheikh Suleyman ar-Ruhayli replies:*

Wa Aleykum Asalaam wa Rahmatullah:

*What would it Harm you if you were to be ignorant of this,* what would it Harm you if you were to be ignorant of this? And what would it benefit you in your religion and your deeds if you were to have knowledge of this?

Oh Brothers, from the foundations in Knowledge with the Salaf is that the person asks concerning that which benefits and that he does not ask concerning the Fudool of knowledge (i.e. Inquisitive and time-wasting affairs) which do not yield Eeman nor actions.

🎯 And hence it was mentioned concerning *Imam Malik*, that a man asked him (a question), so he (Imam Malik) never answered him, and then others asked him (questions), so he replied (to them), then the (first) man asked him, and (again) Imam Malik did not respond to him.

*So the Man said:*
Oh Aba Abdillah, *why do you not respond to me?* Meaning, why do you reply to the people and you leave me? Do you belittle me?

*So he (Imam Malik) replied:*

Were you to ask *concerning that which benefits you, I would have responded!* Were you to ask concerning that which benefits you, I would have responded!

And I _(Sheikh Suleymaan)_, have a reply to the question (which was asked), but I see that for the sake of encouraging good mannerisms and cultivation, that I (deliberately) refrain from providing the answer to the question in order to teach the brother and those who are listening that we ask (only) concerning that which benefits.

💢 My brother, I have arrived from Medinah. I teach in the University and I teach in the Masjid of The Prophet SalAllahu Aleyhi wa Sallam, and I’ve come to you here, Ask concerning that which benefits you.
*Why do you ask concerning that which does not increase you in Eeman?* And if you were to be ignorant of it, it does not cause any harm to your Eeman, nor your deeds?

So this is an affair which we should discipline ourselves with, because it is from the Mannerisms of the Salaf Us-Salih may Allaah be pleased with them.
And Allaah knows best.
